Rancho Genesis
Genesis has a vision to build Rancho Genesis, a Learning Resource Center that addresses the specific needs of the children in Casas Hogar (orphanages), shelters, along with migrant children as well as the dedicated directors and staff involved in the care of these children. Our vision of Rancho Genesis.
When Rancho Genesis is complete, it will be a unique facility within Baja, that provides learning experiences for children that build positive self-worth, camping adventures, opportunities to build extended relationships, charitable services, and professional development for the staff involved in the care of the children we serve. In response to issues from years of service operations in Baja, Genesis hopes to develop Rancho Genesis on 20+ acres of land between the Tijuana and Ensenada area (which is within 1 hour of the vast majority of the 40 plus Casas-Hogars we are working with currently and the 60 more that we hope to help in the future).
Rancho Genesis will create opportunities for children to participate in activities that encourage the development of educational and life skills, as well as provide the reinforcement of positive social behavior . There is such a need for the orphanage and migrant children to expand their horizons by adventuring out into God's beautiful creation, participating in new positive experiences and leave Rancho Genesis with wonderful memories that heal.
