As my first mission trip experience it was a lot more that I expected. When I first got my 2 girls, they obviously weren’t very special with me. But when we got to know each other it seemed to be we were inseparable. It is so amazing how one can develop such great relationships n a few days and god has blessed me in so many ways this week. Without His mercy and grace we would no be where we are today.

I had so much fun this past week with my two little buddies. I really didn’t know that it was going to be fun. I never thought that I would ever just fall in love with a 3 year old and a 9 year old. I thank God for giving me the finances to be able to come on this trip. I will never ever forget the time that I spent with these wonderful kids.

This week has been everything and more than what I expected. It has been such an amazing experience to form a connection and bond with a niño. I really enjoyed the activities, day at the beach and campfires with the orphans. The time spent laughing and playing has been so wonderful. It was all worth it just to see the smile on my niña’s face. Genesis is an excellent program and the staff is so wonderful and God Bless them for everything they do. Thank you!

This mission’s trip experience was AMAZING and something that I will never forget. The whole program was great and the staff was awesome. The niños were so amazing and God worked wonders through all of us. My niño was a challenge however I know that God paired us for a reason. The activities such as the beach and shopping were great. Keep up the amazing work!

Dear Genesis- thank you soo much for the opportunity you give amigos like us to impact many orphans. This trip is absolutely amazing especially since the past 3 have been completely different. My favorite memory was when my niños taught me a new soccer game. The was also great! My niño took all week to finally open up to me which was very hard. However I tried my hardest to love him unconditionally. Again I thank you for all you are doing!

My experience was challenging, fun, and amazing. I thought that I knew almost exactly what to expect when I came on this trip, but I had a completely different experience that I had expected, I never knew that in a week you could grow to love someone soo much! Cassandra was so kind and generous, Sometimes it was hard to know is she was having a good time or not but by the end of the week I could tell she had enjoyed it!! I loved seeing the sparkle in Cassandra’s eyes when I was able to give her gifts. Thanks for an awesome week!

My mission trip experience was amazing. I greatly enjoyed being assigned a niño and getting to spend one on one time with my niño. He taught me many things and made me think about life more in deeply. Thank you so much for everything. One challenge I faced was trying to reach a connection with my niño, but eventually meeting it.

I really loved spending time with my nino and growing a relationship with him so quickly. This really has been the most amazing experience of my life and I have learned so much from being blessed. My favorite part of this has been the beach trips and campfire times.

This has been one of the best mission trips I’ve been on. I liked the fact that the amigos were paired with one or two ninos. This really gave us the opportunity to get personal with the kids and love each of them. I also liked how being here was most definitely a step out of my comfort zone and it really helped me to appreciate just all the things I have at home. I was also able to renew my walk with God in a deeper way again. Thank you.

My mission trip experience was awesome. My favorite part of the whole camp was being able to form personal relationships with the kids and playing football. The only challenge was probably just being dirty but after awhile we got used to it. This was the most amazing experience I have ever had and I hope to do it again soon! Thank you.

This was a great growing experience for me. I like how life here is very simple and not very comfortable. It really helps you focus on what is important. I liked going to the beach and doing crafts with my nina. I like having only one nina to focus my attention on.

This was a GREAT experience for me that I will never forget. My favorite memory of the week is just the smiles of the children as they played and had a great time! There were many small challenges but none that were especially difficult throughout the week. Everything seemed to work very well and I can’t think of any suggestions to make.
