 Genesis has decided to start in Baja, Mexico because we have seen the need to offer solutions to the children of Baja's communities. Approximately 2,800 children currently live in the Orphanages (Casas Hogar) of Baja. By focusing on children and their growth, while exposing the newest generation to cross-cultural understanding, Genesis is supporting a cooperative future. Emphasizing educational enrichments and life-skills, we are helping to prepare the new generation to be better able to solve their own issues and work positively within their own society. Working with orphaned children, we are affecting the most vulnerable children in Mexico's society.

 Genesis believes in being a part of the solution. Therefore, Genesis focuses on these children by working with the orphanages. We choose to do this because we are, thus, working inside Mexico's society with already structured organizations that are dedicated to helping the next generation succeed. We also utilize Mexican volunteers from professional services to artisans. Thus, we are working to find Mexican solutions through Mexican expertise.

 Genesis is committed to enhancing the education of these children. Building self-image (self-confidence, self-esteem, self-respect) through our educational programs that involve outdoor and classroom enrichment, Genesis facilitates the development of the whole person. We look past the immediate circumstances and grasp hold of the real value of each individual. Since Genesis was founded on principles of trust and personal face-to-face relationships, we are also committed to the communities we work in, and the children they help. Likewise, Genesis provides top rated reliable service, professionalism and accountability to all of its supporters because Genesis sees each individual it meets as a partner in changing the lives of these children. People that can learn to see beyond themselves and reach out to others make this world a better place.

 The heart of Genesis lies with the Mexican non-profit civil association Genesis Diez, A.C. Genesis has spent several years researching and developing its programs, methods and relationships with private and civic entities to facilitate its objective in Baja. The fact that we have established ourselves in Mexico as a non-profit has allowed us to build relationships with both the children's organizations and their governing bodies.

Genesis Diez in responsible for all area operations within Mexico.

 The staff at Genesis Diez conducts the following:

  • All administration and accounting for Genesis Programs.
  • Coordination between Custom Programs and the orphanages.
  • Ongoing relationships with Mexican government, educational and social services.
  • Continuing relationships with all orphanages.
  • Creating and maintaining alliances with Mexican businesses, groups and organizations.
  • Keeping current information on all orphanages in Baja.
  • Collecting and updating logistical data for Genesis Programs in site areas.
  • Recruiting and facilitating teachers, guides, skilled laborers and volunteers from local communities and educational institutions.
  • Promoting communication and networking between orphanages.
  • Maintaining records of relevant cultural events in our operational areas of Baja.
  • Overseeing all Genesis off-site children's programs.
  • Fund development within Mexico.

 Genesis Diez is at the front of a groundswell movement within Baja to strengthen their communities and care for the most vulnerable.
