Hernán Cortés
Architect
Hernán has been attending Rancho Génesis camps for over 15 years. He grew up in an orphanage where his parents serve as directors, which introduced him to this ministry from a young age and rooted it deeply in his heart. As he grew older, he pursued a degree in architecture with the goal and vision of serving this very ministry.
Hernán served on summer staff from 2022 to 2024—a season when he built lasting friendships and found family at the ranch. He brings a wide range of talents to the team. He’s a gifted musician and photographer with a creative mind that is always generating fresh ideas. Authentic and fun, he also enjoys storytelling through video editing and is passionate about guiding and shaping dreams into something meaningful.

Deuteronomy 4:39-40
Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath there is none else. Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, forever.
